WHO YOU ARE, Larry Lesser

A note from the artist: Over its history, America's had times where public expression of Jewish identity has felt supported and safe, and times (like now) where threats of antisemitism has made many Jews want to be less visible in public settings. This song explores some of the options for expressing Jewish identity, whether it is what we wear or how we act.

About the artist: El Paso-based educator/poet/songwriter Larry Lesser writes and performs with engaging stage presence highly original guitar-based songs in 3 genres: contemporary Jewish folk-rock, singer-songwriter, and STEM songs. His songs have had airplay (e.g., Jewish Rock Radio as well as various FM radio stations), appeared on albums of other Jewish artists (e.g., Sababa, Larry Bach, Ellen M. Wilson, Folkus), and won international and state recognitions (e.g., New Mexico Music Awards). For more Lesser, see LarryLesser.com
