About the webinar:
The Artists Against Antisemitism has partnered with Project Shema, a training and support organization focused on addressing contemporary antisemitism and building bridges of understanding, to offer a free online training opportunity for anyone working in or adjacent to the arts to help recognize the insidious ways antisemitism has worked its way into society and arts discourse.
When: Wednesday, April 9, 2025
What Time: 12:30 - 2pm EST
Where: A private virtual meeting room.
What Will Be Covered: This training program provides an opportunity to help identify incidents of antisemitism as well as how to talk about antisemitism when it occurs. It also explores the complex history of antisemitism as a systemic bigotry. With a better understanding of historic anti-Jewish themes and how Jews experience harm, participants walk away with a deeper knowledge of what antisemitism is, how antisemitic ideas are showing up in current cultural and political discourse, and why pushing back on antisemitism is so necessary within the arts community.
A secure Zoom link will be sent to anyone who registered in advance of the event. Please note the webinar will not be recorded.
