The Third Annual Community Arts Project
Artists from all backgrounds and across all mediums are invited to contribute a work of original art to our virtual gallery in honor of Jewish American Heritage month and America 250.
The theme of this year’s gallery is: l’dor v’dor, from generation to generation. We can’t wait to see your exploration of how Jewish identity has been carried across 250 years in the United States.
Submissions are now closed. We hope you’ll come back in May to view the gallery.
The Prompt
L’dor V’dor לדור ודור
From Generation to Generation
A few questions for inspiration: Do you see yourself as an American Jew or a Jewish American? How is your Jewish identity different than that of your parents or grandparents? Or your children? Does your Jewish identity impact your identity as an American or vice versa?
We can’t wait to see the art and read the writing that comes from this prompt.
